Maison Rabih Kayrouz is a designer renowned for structural flare paired with simple designs that result in wearable couture. Born in Lebanon, Kayrouz moved to Paris at 16 years old to attend the prestigious Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne. Upon graduation, he was hired by both Chanel and Christian Dior Couture. In 2012, he launched the pret-à-couture label, Maison Rabih Kayrouz. For his recent catwalk shows, Kayrouz cast ballet dancers from the Paris Opera, including a solo performed by Danseuse Étoile, and Léonore Baulac in his canary yellow tiered dress with back vents to illustrate the geometric form and organic movement in his creations. In 2013, Rabih Kayrouz was nominated as Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres by the French government. Currently, he divides his time between Paris and Lebanon to develop his vision.
