Lebanese-born Rabih Kayrouz came to Paris aged just 16 to enroll at the prestigious Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne. On graduating, he was hired by both Chanel and Christian Dior Couture. Kayrouz's flair for structure and high-impact creations earned him respect and admiration from within the fashion industry. He divided his time between Paris and Lebanon to develop his vision. He launched his Maison Rabih Kayrouz pret-à-couture label in 2012. For his recent catwalk shows, Kayrouz cast ballet dancers from the Paris Opera, including a solo performed by Danseuse Étoile, Léonore Baulac in his canary yellow tiered dress with back vents, to illustrate his exploration of geometric form and organic movement in his creations. In 2013, Rabih Kayrouz was nominated as Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres by the French government.
